Thank you for stopping by our website. We are a Trap, Neuter, Release organization that has done a great job of getting feral cats fixed and some into homes or barns thereby reducing the population in Pepin, Stockholm, Maiden Rock and some of the surrounding areas. Please know that there are rescue organizations in the area if you are looking to surrender a cat. We are the ones who pay for and do the transport to get cats fixed, and yes, we will do what we can to help offset costs for your house or barn cats as well. Oftentimes we can do it less expensively than your standard vet.

We are often asked, what do we need most? The answer is always cash. Cash to pay for food, crates, litter, and mostly vet bills. The vet bills are our biggest cost each year, and all donations, no matter the size, are welcome and put to good use. Thank you for helping us keep the populations down and the quality of life up for the cats on the west coast of Wisconsin!

Our clients say it best:

Writing to let you know that Blanca is doing well. She has become domesticated enough that she sometime spends the night inside with us and likes to sit on my lap. Before it got so COLD I encouraged her to come in. She would only stay for a little while and slowly became more and more comfortable with us. During the bitter cold weather she stayed the night and did well. She comes to door when she wants in and lets me know when she wants out.  With the warmer weather she spends most of her time in the shop sitting in the sunshine. It sure is nice having her around and knowing she will not be having any more kittens.
Thank you and all those who work with the feral cat program. What you are doing Is WONDERFUL and very much appreciated. – Babe”

We have had quite the week. Eight cats went to our vet in Winona yesterday for their spay/neuter/vaccinations. To our horror and dismay, a little female was found to have a broken leg and Dr. Jan performed an emergency amputation. We are grateful to one of our fosterers with years of experience in caring for sick/injured/recovering animals for agreeing to take this beautiful little kitty in. We will update you on her progress. In the meantime, the sick Mama has been started on a round of antibiotics and her babies' eyes have opened. Despite feeling so poorly, she is a great mother and is already showing signs of improvement physically and in learning to trust. A reminder that we encounter all kinds of things in our work and your ongoing support is so necessary and so appreciated. Remember, too, that our biggest fundraiser of the year--our donation-based sale during the Hundred-Mile Rummage Sale next weekend at the Laura Park pavilion in Pepin--is coming up May 3 & 4 and we have TONS of great items. ...
